week 3

OK so its been a little while since I posted anything so I figure today would be a good day to update the happenings of the sports world. The NFL is looking at a first a team going 0-16 and is a contender in the league, the Lions have pulled of 3 straight wins and yesterday came back from a 20- 0 deficit to win 26-23 against the Minnesota Vikings. I never thought that the Lions had it in them to be able to do that but under the leadership of Matthew Stafford the Lions are looking at the top of the division but the big hurdle for the Lions is the reigning Super Bowl Champions the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are making it look easy as the season starts with a big division win this weekend against the Bears and, in my opinion are on there way to be the team to beat in the NFL. Now I know that I may not be the most in tune writer or even the most logical but I do tell it like it is so for now sports fans, ALPHA MIKE FOXTROT.

NFC EAST

So I've had to take a little time to talk about the NFC EAST, why? Cause other than hearsay I want facts not crap, so I dug in to get facts and my list goes like so: The bottom of the barrel will be going to the REDSKINS, they haven't gained anything defensively, if at all anything they have stumbled to even make an attempt to right the Haynesworth debacle that happened last year, I give Shanahan props for benching a big name, O wait he benched 2 and then kept struggling to even be in contention. Let Grossman say that the skins will win the east but that is unlikely.
Now lets move on from a long shot to a team that may be the hardest to pick I may be making cause this will be a massive back and forth between the next two teams, but the GAINTS will be in third not due to lack of effort but due to the NFC EAST its self. When you have to compare offences and defenses the big issue for the GAINTS will be that they are going to need Eli to step up and show that Manningesque talent that he has rooted in him. Eli had one great break out year  and that was it, since hes put up numbers but hasn't been dominate in anyway. Now there defense hasn't been the same since the gaped wonder, Micheal Strahan retired and became and analyst for FOX.  Ya Osi and Tuck are good but they cant carry a defense on two man its a team effort. The secondary is weak from a stats aspect but give me a name that stands out in there secondary that can really be a big game changer?
OK OK the other team in this toss up is the COWBOYS, Americas so called team but when they haven't been able to keep the team on a steady coarse or show they can really compete with some of the teams that are dominate, no im not naming any teams here cause its to many to. The offense of the COWBOYS is by no means in a good way when you have Romo and Whitten for passing and Jones for rushing. What was the point of releasing Barber? Look at his overall he had production, I guess Jerry Jones is starting to show his age with that one and thinking that Jones health wont be an issue I for one will believe that when i have true proof that pigs fly! Now for there defense its not much better than the GIANTS but when you can work as a team that is all that matters not that you have Rob Ryan coaching, that's just a joke all together but I am not going to get into that its to funny how stupid he is. I do believe that because the COWBOYS can play D as a team that will help them win maybe 2 more games than the GIANTS and yet if the offences  struggles there will go those 2 games.
Now its time for the team I do feel is doing a lot of good but also may be doing a lot of wrongs is the EAGLES! The moves the EAGLES are making are in the right direction but may also hurt them come playoff time. Vick has his head in the game and not elsewhere like in Atlanta. the big pick up for the eagles wont even see the field, Vince Young is not the best at choices i guess at agreeing to this but hes still getting paid and still in the NFL. The defense has a rookie that is going to basically be a QBs nightmare, Cassie Matthews was and will be the big steal of the draft and no question he has a fantastic blood line that is well shown in brother Clay. Once the defense gets rolling they will be hard to stop and i will predict that it will be the EAGLES vs. PACKERS in what will be a great battle to represent the NFC in the SUPER BOWL.
I do believe that my picks here are the hardest and the most likely to be blown but I have made it so go forth and tell me how bad the picks are and how dumb i am or how little I know. SO GET SOME!!!

Nfc north

So as if u haven't relized it in my first post I really hate aand I mean hate the vikings. I do have to take away my hateredtowards them for this post as I make my perdiction on the north and how it all stacks up. At the bottom of the barrel I hate to say this because someones gonna say its cause I hate them but I don't belive the vikings have the depth they neeed nor do they have the defense they lost Rice and now the only real weapon in my eyes is AP. Now there are several factors about this tho that do need to be answered like how can I say it when I'm not giving Mcnabb credit or giving the defense a chance? Why its all because of one thing the simple fact that mcnabs washed up and has no one (again) to go to, mine as well just tell everyon "hey we are gonna run the ball every play" now for the other side of the ball de3fense Allen is all they really have enough said about the queens. I now have a bad taste in my mouth cause of it. The second to last team is gonna be Da Bears. Da Bears really aren't that good age is gonna play a factor on both sides of the ball and I don't really see a whole lot of production out of the ex bronco. Now I know its hard to be able to say it right now no games have been played and no ones seen what's gonna happen but this is my perdiction. Now taking the wild card in the NFC that's right I'm callin a wild card team right now its gonna be the Detroit Lions, not only will this year be pivitol for the lions to show that they are gonna be a force but also its to show that in under 6 years u can go from the worst team ever in NFL history to making the wild card. Now what needs to happen for this well they do need to focas on protecting the QB. This division has 3 top QBs and the best in the NFL, now the Lions need to protect there's so we can really see what Stanford can do on the feild and not from the sideline. Now I know I know what about detroits defense well they've made big strides in the past to get better there I do belive the only team to give them real fits is our #1 team in the division the Packers. What all can I say that hasn't been said. The pack do have the bast chance out of most in the last 10 years to repeat for the trophy that rightfully belongs here. With such names as Rodgers Hawk Mattews Woodson Driver Finlay, those names are enough to make even the best think hard about there game plan and just when you think you have it figured out the crew cheif and one of the two peices of the offensive brain changes gears, and yes I'm talking about the coach Mr. Mike McCarthy. 
So there u have it my words about the division and what's all gonna happen. Go ahead tell me your thoughts be honest within yourself with what you put and don't hate the player hate the game!

sports today

Today the CBA  approved there deal so whats this mean the free agents can play with there new teams each team gets 45 million and the Vikings still suck. And why do the Vikings suck because "waters wet, the sky is blue, and i still hate Minnesota" ya i just referenced The Last Boy Scout. Now to continue with all the happenings i also heard that there was a suspension today of one Yadier Molina of the St. Louis Cardinals and for what well in case you missed it on Tuesday night Mr. Molina spat in the face of the home plate umpire. Well i guess that spitting isn't a good practice in baseball anymore but then again spitting at an ump that's the right call by seligs office and why is it cause the sport isn't  gonna have a catcher who mind you has a short temper blow up at an umpire who is doing his job. So to you Mr. Molina I say good day. Now to something of real importance the current state of the NBA lockout. I actually shouldnt be one to comment on this topic because do i follow basketball? NO! But as a sports fan i do care and I do know that if the NBA lockout goes as long as the NFL, the NBA is doomed for the 2011-12 season and why is that? Cause of the rookie talent that is gonna go to waste. Ya some of the older guys could do what the likes of Drew Brees and hold there own practices but why would they, all it seems to me is that NBA players are all about money.  Now for my final thought and thats on Tiger. He recently let his long time caddy go, and now is in his first tourny after and what does he do? He starts by shooting -2 and is 5 strokes back. So Tiger if this is the change needed to reboost your career then have at it I personaly think that you may not want to let your doctor go cause he may be your saving grace in a couple years when that knee of yours goes out again.
